Page Export & Sharing

WebLibre includes separate Export and Share sections in the browser menu. You can save a page for later, copy it in a simpler text format, print it, or send the link to another app or device.

The export and share tools are for the current page. If you want to save many open pages at once, see Bookmarks for Bookmark all from the tab view.

Export

To export the current page:

  1. Open the browser menu

  2. Expand Export

  3. Choose the option you want

Export as PDF

Export as PDF saves the current page as a PDF.

Use this when you want to keep the page layout, archive a receipt or article, or share a version that is easy to print.

Export as Markdown

Export as Markdown saves the page as a Markdown file (.md).

Markdown is a plain-text format that keeps useful structure such as headings, links, and lists, while leaving out most of the visual styling of the original page.

On pages where WebLibre has Reader Mode-style extracted content available, you may be asked to choose between:

  • Extracted Content — Reader-optimized content without navigation and ads

  • Full Content — The complete page content and structure

This is useful if you want cleaner notes for reading, or a fuller export for later editing.

Copy as Markdown

Copy as Markdown copies the page content to your clipboard instead of saving a file.

You can paste it into a notes app, document, email, or chat message.

If extracted content is available for the page, WebLibre may first ask whether you want Extracted Content or Full Content.

Print

Print opens Android’s print flow for the current page.

From there, you can print to a printer or use your device’s available save-to-PDF option, if supported.

Share

To share the current page:

  1. Open the browser menu

  2. Open the Share section

  3. Choose how you want to share it

Share Link sends the current page URL to any Android app that accepts shared links, such as messaging, email, or notes apps.

Share Screenshot

Share Screenshot captures an image of the current page view and opens Android’s share sheet so you can send that image to another app.

This is useful when you want to share what the page looks like, not just its link.

Show QR Code

Show QR Code displays the current page URL as a QR code.

This can be handy if you want to open the same page on another nearby device by scanning the code.

Send To Device

If you have Sync set up, WebLibre can send the current page to another synced device that supports tab sending.

  1. Open the browser menu

  2. Open the Share section

  3. Tap Send To Device

  4. Choose a device from the list

If no eligible devices appear, check that your other device is signed in to the same account and supports receiving sent tabs.

Notes

  • The labels in the menu are Export as PDF, Export as Markdown, Copy as Markdown, Print, Share Link, Share Screenshot, Show QR Code, and Send To Device.

  • Markdown options depend on WebLibre having page content available to export. On some pages, the result may be limited or there may be no extracted-content choice.

  • If you want to preserve many tabs for later reading instead of exporting one page, use Bookmark all from the tab view actions.
